Ideal for Domestic Lawns
Sweet Smother Grass is also called Durban grass. This perennial grass is coarse to the touch. It has above-ground runners up to a metre. Sweet Smother Grass is slightly crinkled and has a light to dark green shiny colour with somewhat hairy edges. This is a particularly low maintenance choice which is ideal for totally shaded spots with absolutely no wear. However, this variety may also do well in full sun. We recommend Sweet Smother Grass for domestic lawns, garden surrounds and possibly parks.
