Queensland Blue Couch is a soft and fine leaved grass. Having a blue to green colour when mowed it creates an attractive lawn. This turf is ideal for temperate and sub-tropical areas and is tolerant of neutral to acid soils, including those that are highly acidic. Seeding season is generally from the end of spring to the beginning of autumn. Queensland Blue Couch is not the most drought-hardy couch variety but recovers well once watered. It has poor shade tolerance but is a very dominant grass.
